A country girl at heart, Karra was born in a rural community in Georgetown, South Carolina called Dunbar. She is always certain to tell people that because "home" has helped shape her into the person that she is today. She has always been surrounded by love from her community and church family and wants to be sure that others can share that same joy.

Karra has dedicated life to being of utmost service to others by helping to prepare students for their professional lives, helping people find their passion, and pursue their purpose. She truly believes that "we rise by lifting others."
